Ben Williams - Trustee

Ben is an environmental programme manager with over 20 years’ experience in the sustainable development sector.

Beginning his career in the Northwest, Ben served with Groundwork for 18 years, cutting his teeth on community regeneration programmes in Tameside, East Manchester, and latterly working on major historic landscape projects including Rivington Terraced Gardens and Winckley Square, Preston.

This delivery work bookended a spell in the Northwest regional team for Groundwork, where Ben was developing regional partnerships to further Groundwork’s mission in the Northwest.

In 2016, Ben relocated to North Oxfordshire, and is currently a Programme Manager with Earthwatch Europe, managing Naturehood, a flagship community wildlife programme.

Ben has been involved with governance throughout his professional career, and until recently was Chair of Governors at his children’s primary school.
