Debbie Beaven - Trustee

Debbie has a passion for working with purpose-led organisations supporting strategies focused on delivering positive impacts on society.

Debbie became a Trustee in January 2022. She is a qualified accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants with an extensive career in financial leadership roles across different market sectors, business models and structures, leading change programmes and improving performance outcomes.

She is an experienced board director, with her last executive role being Chief Financial Officer at Simplyhealth, a regulated financial services business providing affordable health plans.

Debbie recently joined 3 other Boards as a Non-Executive Director where the purpose is focused on creating healthier futures… whether that be health and wellbeing, financial or environmental.

With a passion for working with purpose-led organisations supporting strategies focused on delivering positive impacts on society, Debbie recently joined 3 other Boards as a Non-Executive Director where the purpose is focused on creating healthier futures, whether that be health and wellbeing, financial or environmental; IOW NHS Trust, Newbury Building Society and as a Board Trustee for another charity, which supports young people dealing with conflict called Leap – confronting conflict.

Last year Debbie completed an Advanced Leadership Programme with INSEAD business school and in 2022 she is studying with Henley Business school to achieve a professional certificate in executive coaching.
