Jane Worthington - Trustee

Jane is a solicitor and originally worked in private practice, having qualified as a construction and engineering specialist.

She has worked in the public sector since 2008 and is currently a Deputy Director in the Government Legal Department,  managing a team advising the Department for Transport on matters relating to rail strategy and policy.

She has worked in the Government Legal Department for 14 years, and previous roles included advising the Department of Health and Social Care, and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government

Prior to joining the civil service, Jane worked in the North West Regional Development Agency prior to its abolition, advising on regeneration and commercial redevelopment schemes and environmental schemes utilising public funding grants.
