Tom Lindley - Trustee

Tom has board level experience in strategy development, transformation, innovation and marketing gained in companies including MARS, Quorn and Hasbro. Alongside his experience gained in the corporate world, Tom has been a trustee for his local school’s multi academy trust.

He is passionate about the natural world and strongly believes humans lead happier and healthier lives when we ensure the other fauna and flora we share the earth with has the opportunity to thrive.

Beginning his career in the Northwest, Ben served with Groundwork for 18 years, cutting his teeth on community regeneration programmes.

Throughout his career, Tom has led initiatives that directly contributed to sustainability goals, such as overseeing the transition of brands and manufacturing sites to Net Zero.

Tom’s favourite tree is the Rowan.  It looks fantastic all year round, thrives in both the countryside and in towns, its flowers provide pollen and nectar for bees and other pollinators and it’s berries are a rich source of autumn food for birds.
